Who I Am.

Hi, I’m Marcellena.

I’m a curious mind, collector of stories, and tender of my own little memory garden.

I’ve always been fascinated by what it means to be human — how we think, how we care for our bodies, what shapes us, the places that change us, and the stories we carry with us.

I’m a wanderer at heart, but one increasingly anchored by faith, purpose, and the things that matter most.

At the center of it all is my faith.

Following Jesus continues to change the way I understand purpose, identity, love, service, and what it means to live a life well.

I'm still learning. Still asking questions. Still growing.

But more and more, I want my life — and the things I create — to point toward what is good, true, beautiful, and worth paying attention to.

following Jesus.
loving people.
living fully.

My life has taken me through a few different chapters — movement and strength, studying the mind, traveling to unfamiliar places, collecting books, asking far too many questions, and learning again and again that becoming rarely happens in a straight line.

For a long time, much of my work centered around the body. But the more I learned about it, the more curious I became about the person inhabiting it.

Why do we think the way we do? What shapes the stories we tell ourselves? How do our minds and bodies influence one another? What helps people heal, grow, connect, and live meaningful lives?

Those questions are part of what eventually led me toward psychology — and they're questions I imagine I'll spend a lifetime exploring.

My Story.

Storyteller. Ordinary Wanderer. Light-Anchored. Lifelong learner.
